The influence of logo name from cultural and region difference

Regarding to the logo with meaning, in the different region cultural background, its meaning sometimes can have differently, this then is the region culture difference.
For example If the logo is called "the blue sky (BLUE SKY) toothpaste", is not welcome in US. Because of in US, "the blue sky" this name contains meaning of the enterprise bond cannot profit. Other example: a company importing clock from China to England, the clock name is once called "the goat" that is alarm clock, but never obtain English people’s favors, refused by England market,
its reason by not because quality, but was the logo name improper, In England, "the goat" had meaning of "Lovelace" or "play boy", for example a lady shout to some bad guy: Let go, you randy old goat!
Therefore, the commodity exportation enterprise, when design logo name, certainly must study it and translates to local language to see whether suitable, check if got any no good meaning, in order to avoid outsmarts oneself, creates the heavy loss to the enterprise.
For instance the Japanese abstains from the lotus, if uses the word "the lotus" to make the trademark name, then inevitably causes Japanese's repugnance, its product also could be treated coldly.
Besides attention to logo name its meaning, but also must pay attention to its pronunciation, avoid the word has same or approximate pronunciation with the meaning of bad word , this point in the trademark name design also is extremely important. Famous " Jing li lai (goldlion)" logo, the original name is called “Jing Shi” (the golden lion), because "Jing shi" pronunciation of "shi" in the Chinese same with “失(loss)”, the pronunciation consumers mostly do not like, thus break the market hinder the products selling , latter on Mr. Zeng Xianzi change the "Jing shi" to the present widely known "金利来(Jing li lai)",
